Burhan Said Salah, ACCA, CPA (R), is an experienced accounting and advisory professional with over 10 years of experience in audit, assurance, and business consulting. He serves as a Merit Advisory Services LLP Partner for South and Central Somalia, based in the Mogadishu office, leading client engagement and business development initiatives in the region.
He has strong expertise in internal control systems, financial reporting, and advisory services across both private and non-profit sectors. Burhan holds a BSc in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. He is also a member of ACCA and is well-versed in IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
He currently serves as CEO of the Somali Institute of Certified Public Accountants (SICPA), contributing to the advancement of the accounting profession in Somalia.
